A Day In Heaven - American Airlines First Class

Updated: Jun 29, 2019

American Airlines, as you might know, is my favorite airline. I have flown AA business class many times, but I have never flown their first class. But from doing lots of research, I have learned all about American Airlines first class seats. When you get to your seat, you will find all of the items you would expect on a first class flight. A amenity kit, a bag that holds 2 pillows, a mattress protector, a duvet, and a blanket. You will also find a pair of Bose noise-cancelling headphones, pajamas, slippers, lots of storage, a large tray table, a touch screen IFE that can be controlled by a touch screen handset, and of course, your fully adjustable seat. The functions of the seat include upright, desk, movie, relax, dine, and bed. All of the entertainment systems can be a little faster, but they still work and there are a ton of movies and TV shows to chose from! One different thing that American Airlines has on its first class that no other airline has is something called an "office" that faces the windows. Your leather arm chair can rotate any way you chose. Because of this, you can face the windows, pull out a separate "desk" and have an ideal and private "office". The seats are layed out in a 1-2-1 configuration. There are a total of 8 first class seats. This very nice and comfortable first class seat will cost you around $2,800. With miles, this seat will cost you roughly 50,000-80,000 miles. This is depending on where you fly and the availability of the flight.
