If you read my post on the top 5 best first class seats, you would have learned about the Emirates first class suite on the 777, but that seat is much different from the A380. This will be my review of the Emirates first class suite on board the A380.
When you first arrive at the airport, you will already feel ultimate luxury. You get first class check-in, lounge, and get to board the plane in no time. When you get on the plane, you will find that the first class cabin is decked out in gold and silver. At your seat, you will find an automatic mini-bar, a snack basket, a vanity mirror, a large TV, a tablet to control the TV, a super sturdy and large table to eat and do work on, a writing kit, a lamp, and a reading light. You will also receive pajamas, socks, slippers, an eye mask, and an amenity kit. When you sit down in your seat, a flight attendant will introduce you to the seat and its functions. Along with that they will offer you Arabic coffee and chocolates. Throughout the flight, you have access to a bar and lounge area that is shared with all first and business class passengers. When you get hungry, a flight attendant will serve you whatever you want from the many options on the menu, along with their finest caviar! Once you get tired, you can call a flight attendant and they will make your bed and trust me, it will be the best night sleep you will ever have in the sky! Before the flight, all first class passengers can reserve a shower time at some point during the flight. This is one of the biggest things that separates the A380 first class from the 777 on Emirates. When your shower is ready, you will be brought to the bathroom, or spa, that you have access to for 30 minutes. Once you want to shower, you simply press a button and you get running water for 5 minutes. This will be something you can definitely check off on your bucket list! So far, Emirates is the only airline, besides private jets, to have a shower on the airplane. You can experience this amazing plane ride of luxury for the cost of around $20,000. This is one heck of a lot of money but for all of you luxury-seeking travelers, this is the perfect flight for you!
